REPTILES  OTHER THAN SNAKES
(And One Mollusk)

The large turtle was in my yard and I was curious about their biting ability.  I (gently) presented the handle-end of a golf club toward the turtle.  He snapped and actually bit through the leather grip!

A lizard displays to attract a mate.

Lizards can regrow lost tails.  I've seen them lose a tail and hold still while the lost tail continued to wiggle.  Of course the attacking predator went for the moving tail!
